Justine Nowosiadly (She/Her/Hers)

Justine is mindful, empathetic and supportive of her clients’ needs. She recognizes that change can be initially frightening, but ultimately freeing in order for an individual to live one’s best life. She strongly believes in walking along side her clients through their journey while simultaneously building strong therapeutic relationships.

Justine has experience working with children, adolescents and families struggling with various concerns such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, grief, low self-esteem, trauma and teenage pregnancy. She has worked with her clients using various techniques that include dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), collaborative problem solving, family systems, solution-focused and strengths-based approaches.

Justine holds a B.A. with honours in clinical psychology from Redeemer University, an M.A. in counselling psychology from Yorkville University and is a general member of the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists (OACCPP). Her main projects include a practical resource guide for individuals struggling with generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), and a thesis regarding adolescent grief in response to sudden parental death.

Justine enjoys practicing yoga, and spending time with family and friends that includes her American Cocker Spaniel.
