We're a team of psychotherapists working with children, teens, parents, and whole families. Each of us brings our own training and style, along with a shared commitment to meeting people where they are, at a pace that feels safe.
Meghan is the Clinical Director of Family Kinnections and a Registered Psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience in children's mental health. Her work centres on supporting challenging behaviour, with a special interest in autism, PDA, and ADHD.
She practises from a neurodiversity-affirming, trauma-informed stance, starting with the need beneath the behaviour so connection and cooperation begin to feel possible again. She also supports parents directly — helping them understand their child's nervous system, repair the relationship, and interrupt intergenerational patterns by meeting their own histories with compassion. As a neurodivergent parent raising neurodivergent children, this work is close to her heart.
Meghan also has experience supporting dual-diagnosed individuals (intellectual disability and mental health), and uses play, art, and somatic-based interventions to provide therapeutic support to minimally verbal and non-verbal individuals.
Her training spans Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, EMDR, somatic and sensory-supported interventions, and art and play therapy, alongside ongoing study in PDA-informed and polyvagal approaches, with added proficiency in working with dissociation. She holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and is a PhD candidate, researching parenting, cycle-breaking, PDA, and adolescent well-being. Alongside her clinical work, Meghan provides clinical supervision and consultation to other therapists, and teaches in the field.
Book with Meghan →Are you tired of fighting with your child or teen? Tired of repeating yourself, negotiating, bargaining, feeling ignored — and watching the calm, connected relationship you want feel further out of reach?
I'm Jess, and I help families find their way back to each other.
For over a decade I worked with children and youth in nearly every capacity — full-time nanny, teaching assistant, university student mentor, and eldest sibling in my own family. Those years shaped how I see kids: as whole people whose behaviour always makes sense once you understand what's underneath it.
My approach is person-centred and trauma-informed. I work primarily through Internal Family Systems (IFS) — a parts-based approach that helps both children and parents meet the different sides of themselves with curiosity instead of judgment. Depending on what fits, I also draw on Emotionally Focused Therapy, Child-Centred and Cognitive Behavioural Play Therapy, ACT, DBT, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
I focus on trauma, ADHD, anxiety, anger, and the dynamics that can leave families feeling stuck — including long-standing cycles that feel impossible to change. I also see individuals of all ages and couples, integrating EFT, Gottman, and parts work. Family Kinnections is a short drive from Niagara College, and I'd be glad to support post-secondary students.
Book with Jessica →I am a Registered Psychotherapist and Registered Social Worker who provides counselling to children experiencing concerns such as anxiety, mood, and ADHD, and difficulty regulating emotions. I have 20 years of clinical experience with children, youth, and parents across private practice, community-based mental health, and inpatient settings. I hold a diploma in Child and Youth Work from Mohawk College (1998) and a Bachelor of Social Work from McMaster University.
I work from a client-centred, strength-based family systems approach in a safe, non-judgemental way. As a mother of two adolescents, I relate to the challenges of parenting, and I have personal experience with chronic pain and mental health, and the frustrations of navigating an unjust system. I integrate evidence-based practices from an anti-oppressive lens, including DBT, CBT, and solution- and strength-based approaches.
Areas of experience include parent coaching for youth with complex mental health needs, anxiety and mood, ADHD/ADD, chronic pain, crisis and stress management, behaviour planning, and narrative and solution-focused therapy.

Book with Justine →Carley is a Registered Nurse and a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). She is passionate about mental health and wants to be part of the societal shift toward normalizing therapy for everyone.
She understands that we all face struggles — life can bring pain, loss, and suffering, and these don't need to be managed alone. No concern is too big or too small to bring to therapy. Because it can be hard to share, her aim is to provide a space that is welcoming, open, and safe.
