Hello

Nathalie Bouchard (She/Her/Hers)

Location:

Do you feel ready to finally live the life you’ve always dreamed of? Is your child struggling and you want them to receive professional structured support? Is your family ready to work towards a more meaningful dynamic?

My name is Nathalie and I’m so happy you’re here.

Throughout my life I have always felt a call towards supporting those during difficult periods of their lives. I truly found my calling for Social Work after completing volunteer hours at a local distress line, where I discovered the negative impact of trauma, substance misuse, and adverse childhood experiences on the community at large. I became inspired to pursue a career where I could assist others find meaning and realize their full potential.

Providing emotional support, validation and active listening to those who are ready to receive support is my area of speciality. I am excited to help adults, children, and their families who are highly motivated to work towards healing as well as embark on the journey to self-discovery. My role is to provide clients with the opportunity to feel inspired to begin confronting challenges and situations that may no longer be serving them. I also provide grief and loss counselling for individuals who are facing a life changing circumstance of losing a loved one or family member.

I incorporate a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions into my work including Dialectal Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solutions Focused Therapy (SFT), Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and Narrative Therapy. I have obtained further training in all of these interventions and I am actively working towards further certification in EMDR. I also utilize play, storytelling and art into many aspects of my work based on client preference.

If you feel inspired to heal, I’m here to help.
